33 A Discharging a firearm with intent etc
The two elements of this offence are intent to cause grievous bodily harm and an intent to resist arrest.

Intent to cause grievous bodily harm
If you are found to have intended to cause grievous bodily harm by discharging or attempting to discharge a firearm or other loaded firearms the penalty is a maximum of 25 years imprisonment.

Intent to resist arrest
If you are found to have discharged or attempted to discharge a firearm or other loaded firearms with the intent of resisting your lawful arrest or the lawful arrest of another the penalty is a maximum of 25 years imprisonment.
33 B Use or possession of weapon to resist arrest etc
If you use, attempt to use, threaten to use or possess an offensive weapon or instrument or you threaten injury to any person or property with intent to commit an indictable offence or with intent to prevent or hinder the lawful arrest of yourself or another you are liable to imprisonment for 12 years. If you commit this offence in the company of another person or persons then the penalty increases to 15 years imprisonment.
